Reading
Short chapters with Python you can run on the page. Change any example, press Run, and see what happens. Each chapter ends with practice problems that check your answer.
These chapters go along with the lectures and the assigned readings. They do not replace them.
| Course weeks | Chapter |
|---|---|
| 6–7 | Args and Kwargs |
More chapters will be added during the quarter.
How the Python cells work
- Python runs in your browser, on your own computer. You do not need to install anything.
- The first time you open a chapter, Python takes a few seconds to load. You need an internet connection.
- All the cells in one chapter share a session, like a notebook. If you see a
NameError, run the cells above it first. - Restart Python at the top of a chapter clears all variables.
- Your edits are not saved. Reload the page and the cells go back to the original code. Copy your work somewhere before you leave.
